Diana Series

Tanka is a form of unrhymed Japanese poetry, with five sections structured in a 5-7-5-7-7 pattern of syllable similar to the haiku, which follows the more familiar 5 / 7 / 5 pattern. What follows is a brief recollection in four stanzas each in the Tanka form.

She wants me to hear

Her heels click sensuously

A staccato sound

Echoes on the marble floor

As she comes closer to me

She wants me to see

Her legs shroud in shinning silk

Wearing nothing else

Filling my field of vision

As she comes closer to me

She wants me to feel

Her warm, wanton, willing sex

Warmed by desire’s heat

Grinding her hips down on me

As she comes closer to me

She wants me to touch

Her pleasure place deep inside

Aching with lust’s need

Rocking herself on my lap

As she cums, spent upon me

She wants me to know

Her essence deep within her

Laid vulnerable

As she melts within my arms

She has come closer to me
