Teusday Top Ten

top_ten_list

It seems that a blog just isn’t complete without a posting of some silly list or other. A quote attributed to Hemingway says to “write drunk and edit sober”. So, without further ado, here are my top ten cures for the common writer’s block. ____________________________________________

01
1) Jim Beam Bourbon – It’s as much a part of my writing desk as are paper and pens!

02
2) Scotch – wonderful for helping with those finer points of plot and outline

03 3) Jameson Irish Whiskey – having trouble adding dimension to your characters? Try a couple of shots of a twelve year old

04

4) Woodford Reserve Bourbon – because most of life’s difficult questions can be answered with a better bourbon

055) London Dry Gin – curing writer’s block since “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”

066) Black Spiced Rum – a deep dark glass of this smooth liquor will add a sense of mystery to your manuscript

07
7) Russian Vodka – to help you with your clarity, vodka makes everything clear

088) Spiced Rum – its particularly good at helping with character interaction… spice it up a notch

099) Kahlua – because its rough drinking the morning coffee without it

1010) Baileys – because its rough drinking the evening coffee without it
